Rooting Afrodance in Brazil: Meet the Ghanaian Dancer selling Ghana to Brazilians.

 

Afrodance and azonto remain the core of contemporary dance in Ghana and are fast taking over the world. There are many dance steps from Ghana which forms the basis of Afrodance, and on International level  where every country is doing something peculiar, it is only appropriate that ghanaians stamp their authority and influence over afrodance.

It´s in this view that Joseph Kwabena Osei has taken afrodance to the shores of Brazil and gradually piercing the heart of many brazilians with the energetic and stylish moves (afrodance) of the ghanaian dancers.

 Joseph ,a 27 year ghanaian student is on scholarship, pursuing design at the Federal University of Maranhão, São Luís - Brazil. He being afrodance instructor and choreographer has earned him opportunities to partake in various video clips and events like Killa, sarrar, mais que danada, obsessão, batidão and Abre o caminho in the capital of Maranhão-Brazil.
